• Concordance Span*: The Advanced Interface allows you to select between 1 and 20 words for the left and right spans around your search term. You can also select 'Max' which will show 200 characters either side of the search term.
   
• Full Sentences*: Instead of specifying the span as a fixed number of words to the left and right, you can choose to display the examples of your search term within the sentence in which it was found. (WebCorp uses heuristics to calculate sentence boundaries when no reliable punctuation is present.)
   
• Number of Pages to Retrieve: You can use this option to produce results more quickly by limiting the number of web pages WebCorp needs to access. Choose from 10, 25, 50, 100, 200 or 500 pages. The default is 100. Note this has replaced the 'Number of Concordance Lines' option.
   
• One concordance line per web site*: Select this option to view only the first concordance line found from each website. The default is off (show all concordance lines).

* Now that we keep a cache of the search results these settings can also be changed after retrieving the concordances.
