| | | Post-Processing After WebCorp has returned the results of your search, you can post-process the output in various ways: -
Remove unwanted concordances: If you have chosen the HTML tables (KWIC) output format you will find a check-box next to each concordance line on the results page. If there are certain concordances which you would like to remove from the results page then you can check the boxes next to these concordances and press the 'Process' button below the concordances to remove them. -
Sort concordances alphabetically on left or right context: At the bottom of the results page there is an option which allows you to select a direction (left or right), a position (in the range 1 to your chosen span), and case sensitivity. After pressing the 'Sort' button you will be presented with a page of sorted output in KWIC style. -
Sort concordances by date: At the bottom of the results page you will also find a button which allows you to sort the concordances by date in either ascending or descending order. Note: on the date sort output screen each date has a number attached to the end which indicates the date source (1:Server Header, 2:Date Metatag, 3:Author-Specified Modification Date in Document Body, 4:Copyright Date, or 5:Date in URL).
